Overview
Plastic Bank is a social enterprise turning plastic waste into currency for communities worldwide. My role expanded over the years from photography into design, web development, learning content creation, and digital marketing. The projects ranged from brand and marketing collateral to website development and learning platforms, all designed to support Plastic Bank’s global impact.

My Approach & Contributions
- Started with photography and image editing, then expanded into brochures, blog layouts, and case study design.
- Designed and maintained web pages with WordPress (Divi, then Gutenberg), enhancing UI with Figma.
- Built and managed LMS courses in LearnDash, including content creation, uploads, and user experience flow.
- Implemented SEO optimisation using Rank Math and tools like SEMrush App Centre.
- Produced tutorials and documentation with Scribe, streamlining onboarding and internal processes.
- Collaborated with cross-functional teams using Jira and Confluence.
- Created client updates, blogs, and digital reports to maintain stakeholder engagement.
The Results
- Produced a complete video from raw B-roll footage, shaping the narrative from start to finish.
- Created an English script and delivered a clear voice-over.
- Made the content accessible to both local and international audiences, strengthening Plastic Bank’s storytelling reach.
- Gained early experience in end-to-end video production, from editing to localisation.
- Contributed to the development of Plastic Bank Academy by creating new programs, courses, and lessons while refining existing ones.
- Selected and prepared supporting materials, including images, graphics, and edited videos with customised intros and outros, to align with course content.
- Built original content where needed, ensuring consistency with existing materials and maintaining instructional quality.
- Supported the Academy’s mission by delivering a structured, accessible learning experience for diverse audiences.
